OUR PAYMENT RATES FOR
PHOTOGRAPHS AND ARTICLES
CD&E and Western Power magazines welcome articles/photographs from readers. These are sent at the owner's own risk and the editorial team reserves the right to change and alter the submitted work for publication. The views expressed by the author of any published work is not necessarily the same as the publisher.
We are often supplied with duplicate prints, particularly old black and white ones, without any relevant credit details on the reverse. These photographs are used in good faith at all times and we are more than willing to credit the bonafide owner/photographer of such prints if they provide us with the relevant details.
These magazines survive on a shoestring budget and we have been able to provide our readers with a first class product thanks to the generosity of numerous writers and photographers who have unselfishlessly waived their repro fees for a free subscription to both magazines. This is our main priority so firstly, if anyone wishes to provide us with black and white or colour pictures on a regular basis then free subscriptions to all three magazines will be offered.
Otherwise our publication rates are as follows: Black and white photographs: £1.50; Colour photographs £3. We have a policy of not paying for any articles/features.
In order to obtain payment for pictures used, please provide us with an invoice, listing the pictures used, on which page, and in which magazine. Please also provide evidence that you hold the copyright for them unless this issue has been discussed prior to publication.
