CD&E IS BACK!
When Classic Diesels & Electrics Magazine closed after issue 15 a few years ago, nobody thought it would ever return. Crippling production costs and dwindling subscribers made the whole business totally unproductive apart from the fact that the magazine produced some of the most earth-shattering features ever seen.
This time though, the publishers are determined to walk before they can run. The old CD&E had high-production values and great features. The new CD&E, started where the old one left off, with issue 16, and still has colour and black and white....but more importantly, superb features that reveal exclusive information from the archives.
Our comeback issue had one of the biggest hydraulic revelations to come from the research which has been quietly undertaken during the last few years. Also, there was a stunning feature on the plans to remove all the Deltic and 'Peak' class nameplates and put them on Class 56s! So, if you were a previous subscriber, you cannot really afford to miss out.
Copies of the original first 15 issues are now like gold dust and regularly sell for big sums on Ebay, don't let the same happen again. Many people missed out on the first few issues, which only had a print run of 200, because they didn't have the faith, they should know better this time around.
To subscribe for the THIRD YEAR ISSUES 28-33 all you have to do is click the link ABOVE. The CC Publications team have already taken railway research to another level. If you want to come along for the ride you are more than welcome. The response to the new re-vamped website has been unbelievable and so many of our previous supporters have returned in their droves, for which we thank you, but this is only the start.
